I picked a ridiculously cold and windy day to go walk and shoot under the Verrazano Bridge. I hung out for a few hours as the sun was setting and almost lost my finger tips in the process. The photos are okay. Can you tell I'm not to happy with them? The wind was shaking the camera and the loss of feeling in my fingers didn't help much with my patience so I didn't take as many shots or go through the complete process to nail the money shot. I'll be back out there in the summer.

Today's walk on January 26, 2010. Starting in Bedford Stuyvesant then heading to Williamsburg Brooklyn, Flushing, Willets Point and Sunnyside, Queens. These were my favorite shots of the day on another note my feet are killing me.

2 of NYC's longest running parties came together for the first time last night at Brooklyn Bowl. The Rub with DJ's Cosmo Baker, Ayres and DJ Eleven vs The Freedom Party's DJ's Herbert Holler, Cosi and Mark Smooth. The place was packed, the crowd was beautiful and the music was perfect. Continuing with my tradition of using flash as little as possible to capture those moments when love blossoms or a one night stand begins.

I think I met New York's oldest party goer at the Pussy Faggot party. I took a few shots of him and as I was packing my camera he came and sat down next to me and said "Fridays are crowded but Saturdays are better". He's been partying longer then I've been alive. Salud to George!

9th Annual No Pants Subway Ride by Improv Everywhere. Improv Everywhere causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 100 missions involving tens of thousands of undercover agents. The group is based in New York City.

Polesque 2010 @ Galapagos Art Space in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Polesque was concieved, directed and produced by Kyra Johannesen, Jen James and Kyle Mcbeth. Part pole dancing, part burlesque, this competition seeks to present pole dancing as an entertaining art form while burlesque performers razzle and dazzle the audience.
